Just a quick update this morning. We have about 6" of snow to shovel before a half-day agility seminar I'm giving this afternoon.
Surgery is Wednesday at Ogden Regional Hospital. I won't know the time until the night before. I met with the radiologist, Dr. Tomayo finally yesterday and he explained how he'll identify the area to be removed prior to the surgery. I'm feeling even more confident after talking to him. He had out the post-biopsy mamos and showed me exactly where he's going to put the wires. I also didn't realize the target area is in the lower part of the breast, so although there will end up being a dimple or divit there, it won't be very noticeable at all (which is even better because I usually don't wear clingy things). I'm so lucky to have a team of such concerned doctors. They are quite charming too! Dr. Tomayo said he can't wait to get to know me better as he certainly will with me having to get mamos every 6 months for awhile after this.
